Son, 16 December 2010 – Sofon Guided Selling was presented during Dreamforce, the worldwide Salesforce.com event in San Francisco last week. At this event Sofon showed Salesforce users how calculations, configurations, quotations and orders can be generated in Sofon from Salesforce.com using the Salesforce Connector. The Salesforce Connector has now been certified by Salesforce.com and can be found on AppExchange, the marketplace for applications integrated with Salesforce.com.
CPQ
Salesforce users had a keen interest in a standard application for CPQ: Configuration, Pricing and Quoting that can be easily implemented. By developing the Salesforce Connector in cooperation with Salesforce.com, Sofon has met Salesforce users’ expectations. This Connector allows Salesforce users to generate calculations, configurations, quotations, and orders in Sofon from Salesforce.com easily and quickly.
Dreamforce
Sofon first presented the Salesforce Connector during Dreamforce ’10, where the Connector was received enthusiastically by Salesforce users. They were particularly impressed with the functionality offered by Sofon as well as Sofon’s implementation approach. Sofon Ready to Go ensures that the implementation of Sofon will require considerably fewer consultancy hours than deemed necessary for other CPQ solutions.
Security Review
The Connector was built according to Salesforce.com guidelines, allowing the review process by Salesforce.com to be very fast. Sofon has now passed the security review and can be found on AppExchange: sites.force.com/appexchange/results
